Location is perfect, within walking distance to attractions. However, the room lacked soundproofing, making it noisy at night.

During my stay, I was lucky enough to enjoy a beautifully decorated room that offered a stunning view over the hills and city rooftops. The furnishings and bathroom design were impressive, making my time here feel luxurious. I also appreciated the convenience of being just a short stroll from notable attractions like the University of Coimbra and the National Museum Machado de Castro, which enriched my visit immensely.

i had the absolute pleasure of staying here, yet I struggled with a pesky frosted glass door on the toilet, which really tests one's privacy. Also, the breakfast was, shall we say, underwhelming—stale rolls don’t quite cut it. I was nearly impressed enough to leave a good review, but this just wouldn’t do for a discerning guest like myself.

The room layout was bizarre, with no bathroom doors! It felt like an invasion of privacy every time I needed to use the facilities. Coupled with the incredibly thin walls, I had to endure loud noise from the neighbors and a nearby club that kept me awake all weekend. I expected more comfort for the price, but the breakfast selection was so limited that it was disappointing, particularly the cold scrambled eggs on a couple of occasions.

The room was comfortable but really needed better sound-proofing from neighbors.

the shower had no hot water.

While centrally located, ensuring easy access to attractions, the noise from the surrounding area could be a concern for those facing the street. Parking is available and complimentary, adding to the convenience of the stay.

I had a stunning stay with a luxurious breakfast served on a cake stand! Also, the pool was a great bonus, even though photos exaggerated its size. I'd definitely return!

Had an amazing time with friends! The location was great, with easy access to the Botanical Gardens. The breakfast spread was extensive, loaded with fresh fruits, and certainly set us up for the day. Plus, the indoor pool and sauna were perfect for unwinding after exploring the city. Would totally recommend it!

However, we experienced some noise disruption from a nearby discotheque, which made it tough to sleep on Saturday night. Just a heads up for future visitors, consider packing earplugs if you stay on the weekend.

ibn-arrik is a real gem! it’s super clean, with a bright interior. the location is perfect, just a short walk to downtown. the included breakfast is absolutely superb, with lots of tasty options. plus, the free parking is a huge bonus for our rental car.
